A fairy enchanting time in Mathura
India has been long known as very spiritual religion heavy area of the world.So i decided to visit Mathura because i have listen many beautiful and ancient stories about Lord Krishna from my MOM.
Mathura is a city in the North Indian state located in Uttar Pradesh, It is the birth place of Lord Krishna. Many year ago Lord Krishna has done many powerful activities . People have internal faith regrading to this place because Mathura is surrounding with pure and spiritual powers. Many monks devoted their life in the Bhakti of Lord Krishna, Not only Indians have strong belief in existence of one supreme god, whom they called as variously Lord Krishna but also many foreigners come here to see the spirituality of Lord Krishna.
First temple that i saw in Mathura was Janam Bhoomi where Krishna is said to have been born. It is nearby of Keshav Dev Temple and Shahi Eid Gah Mosque. You will get surprise after reading this Lord Krishna was born in prison to devot parents- Vasudeva and Devaki. At the time of his birth, his life was in danger because his maternal uncle seeking to kill him.But his uncle failed to killed him because the divine voice spoke to vasudev. Take your baby to the Gokul kingdom ruled by your friend king Nand across the Yamuna river. Queen yashoda,his wife, has given birth to baby girl. Exchange the babies and come immediately with the baby girl. So in this way Lord Krishna parents safe his life. This place is nearly 4000 year old and made up of red stones. It is very highly secured by gunmans and camera.And one of the most interesting thing about this place is prison cell. When i saw this prison i got goosebumps on my hand because the stones are not rusted these years. After seeing this place, i went to another most interesting place its name is "Goverdhan Temple".
Before telling about Goverdhan Temple. I will tell you some jaw dropping activities of Lord Krishna and what is the reason behind why Krishna took birth on the Earth.I met with monk he told some good things about Lord Krishna. He says if one Hindu god's name is known and recognized throughout the world, it is Krishna.For his devotees, Krishna is delight, full of playful pranks. But most of it Lord Krishna's promise to humanity that he will manifest himself and descend to the earth whenever dharma declined has sustained Hindu belief in the supreme being over thousand of years.After listen interesting things of Lord Krishna, my curiosity level has been extended to the next level. I took rickshaw and went to Goverdhan .Goverdhan is the name of hill, Lord Krishna took Goverdhan hill on his little finger to save the town from warth of the god of rains Indra.The town is also famous for its 21 kilometer long parikrama of the very old hill called Goverdhan. This town is also surrounded by the lake called Mansi Ganga and many chirpy markets and street foods.One of the famous drink that people usually drink is Lassi so yummy, it is made up of curd and sugar. It is the only mouthwatering drink that i ever drink in my whole life. So these are the most interesting places that i have visited in Mathura. I must say in my whole travel career this was my most enchanting trip.

The main attraction of Mathura is mawa sweet variety.
One should sit on knees and praying to god is comes in Hindu rituals.
Mathura is famous for its Greenery and less polluted city in the U.P. I love this place, and thank you to my MoM because of her i came here and sharing my wonderful experience with you.
